Here it is, the first carbon fiber FutoFab BRE 510 Spook straight from the mold before flashing has even been trimmed. The brake ducts have topside enclosures unlike most spooks sold today. The enclosures are separate pieces shown just setting on the air dam. They will be bonded onto the air dam on the finished product.
This is the right end of the spook without the brake duct enclosure. This gives an idea of the parts finish coming straight out of the mold. There is no finish on these parts, they are just epoxy resin and carbon fiber.
This close up of the Spook's right brake duct showing the detail inside the duct. The top enclosure is a seperate piece bonded in place. The 360 degree enclosed ducts on the FutoFab Spooks allow for attachment of a brake cooling hose that can be directed onto the rotor for more effective cooling. The detail of these parts is incredible.
This close up of the Spook's left duct shows the inner detail of the lower brake duct and the spoiler’s outer end where it mounts to the car's body. Again this is a raw product, straight out of the mold. The excess flash will be trimmed off in the finishing process.
