Futofab Big Brake Upgrade Kit for the Datsun 510

We assembled this brake upgrade kit to use the original Datsun 510 struts and hubs. Our intent was to create a large rotor, high performance front brake package that would bolt directly to the factory components without modification. This is a complete package with all the parts and hardware needed for a 100% bolt-on installation.

Parts List

FutoFab Calipers - These calipers are a four (4) piston design manufactured by Outlaw Brakes specifically for FutoFab. Each billet aluminum caliper features staggered piston diameters to provide more even braking power and to reduce taper pad wear.

Wilwood Rotors – Oversize 12.19" diameter by .810" thick vented rotors.

Brake Pad Set - Street compound for superior cold stopping power and lower dust. Hawk Performance Street/Track pads are available as an upgrade for autocross and track day use ($45 add).

DOT Steel Braid Flex Hoses – Stainless steel braided lines with a clear plastic jacket. Custom made specifically for the Datsun 510 and in compliance with DOT specification for street use.

Rotor Adapters - Machined out of billet aluminum and black anodized. The adapters bolt directly to the unmodified 510 hub using factory hardware.

Caliper Mounting Bracket - Black anodized billet aluminum, machined to fit the 510 strut

• 16 – 5/16-18 AN Hardware, Rotor to Adapter bolts, w/washers and locking jet nut
• 4 – M14x1.25 Caliper Bracket to Strut bolts, w/lock washers
• 4 – 3/8-24 AN Spec Caliper to Bracket bolts, w/washers and locking jet nut
