FutoFab 930 / 108mm CV Axle and Differential Stub Axle Combo Package

FutoFab's current CV Axle Kits are advanced in both strength and operation over earlier designs. We now offer two (2) CV size axle kits, 100mm and 108mm. All of FutoFab's new CV axle products have a bright orange axle bar to easily identify them.

FutoFab Type 2 / 100mm CV Kit (Wolf Creek Racing replacement)
This replaces the original WCR CV Axle design. We use the same size CV but that is about the only similarity as every component has been upgraded. FutoFab's Type 2 / 100mm CV Axle Kits feature these improvements.

• The CV bolt holes are tapped directly into the adapter without Helicoils. This eliminates the problem of Helicoils unscrewing with the CV bolts. This also allows use of LocTite.
• Our CV Bolts are grade 12.9 - M8 x 1.25 socket head bolts, drilled to use safety wire, which we strongly recommend along with the use of LocTite.
• We use a two hole, torque distributing washers on the CV bolts to spread the clamping force in the same manner as the OE CV fastening system.
• The CV bolt lock washers are now SCHNORR washers, a cone shaped washers with serrated surfaces. They have a greater locking force than a standard lock washer.
• The outer CV adapters have pressed in M10 x 1.25 studs to attach them to the companion flange. This allows the outer end of the axle to be disconnected without the need to remove the CV from the adapter.

ALL FutoFab Axle Kits - Noise Reduction and Improved Driver Confidence
The biggest complaint FutoFab received about the original WCR design was the clunking noises they made during use and the fear of failure that noise created. These noises were caused by an extreme amount of rotational free play built into the axle assembly.

FutoFab has fixed this!

FutoFab's CV Axle kits eliminate all the clunking noises with increased reliability. They operate smoother and quieter without the rotational free play found in the original WCR design.

• Our CV's are made to a tighter tolerance, virtually eliminating any internal backlash.
• Our axle bars are custom made from heat treated 4340 chromoly steel with CNC machined splines. Each spline is closely fitted to minimize any axle to CV play.
• The axle bar is machined to have a hard inner CV stop. This eliminates need for an inner C-clip groove, making the FutoFab axle stronger than the WCR design.
• Axles are powder coated bright orange, easily identifying them as a FutoFab CV Axle.
