The FutoFab Alternator Adjustment Strut is designed for use on Datsun L series engines, both 4 and 6 cylinder models. The adjuster has a range of 5.5” to 7”. It can be used in any application fitting that range using 8mm (or 5/16”) bolts. |

FutoFab uses chrome plated left and right hand spherical rod ends on the ends of an aluminum alloy hex center section. Adjustment is as simple as releasing the two jamb nuts and rotating the adjuster's hex center section, no more fighting with levers and straining to keep correct belt tension while tightening the alternator bracket bolt. When he belt tension is right, just retighten the jamb nuts and you are done.
