FutoFab’s adjustable tension control rods have more than 1” of adjustment by turning the aluminum hex connector. The TC rod bolts to the stock lower control arm using a satin black powder coated steel mounting bracket.

FutoFab’s TC Rods use a ball and socket on the chasssis pivot point. The kit includes an aluminum locating washer that also keeps the dust bellows in position. The ball and socket is held in place with a flanged nut and star lock washer locking it to the chassis.

FutoFab uses a clevis with a 3/8” NAS bolt and locking jet nut to connect the TC Rod to the lower control arm mounting bracket. This allows for the needed change in angle between the TC rod and LCA when high amounts of caster are being used. Rigid TC rods do not allow for this and can actually try to bend the TC rod with extreme amounts of caster.

The step on the locating washer seen here holds the chassis end of the TC Rod centered in the chassis mount. Here is a close-up of the locating washer and chassis end mounting hardware.
